Bassic is a six-year tradition “that evolved from a group of local bass lovers on a quest to change the tides of the scene” (Dig Boston). Since 2007, the GOOD LIFE BAR (28 Kingston St, Boston) has supported and housed Bassic. This monthly party features the most talented DJs from around the world, as well as Bassic’s very own residents (Moldy, C Dubs, AxH, Damian Silva, Dabu, Steppo, and Scotch-1).
“We’re booking these artists because we like their music. I think it’s always better to have a personal connection. There’s a deeper bond. It makes things better… It’s about letting (the artists) know you appreciate their music & letting them know what makes our city our city… letting people know who you are” (C Dubs).
