Reppin’ the urban jungle that is Dayton Ohio, a source of funk and house music emanates brightly. Ruckus Roboticus is a world class mixer, frequently showcasing his skills on the 1s and 2s via Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel Radio. A champion of their mixing competition…he’s been lauded by some heavy hitters on the ninja tune lineup like DK and Strictly Kev. Part turntable, half drum machine, all sex machine; the robotic wonder has continually electrified listeners with his colorful and imaginative world of sound. Ruckus brings with him the spark of ingenuity sure to make your dancefloor experience nothing short of amazing. When Ruckus steps up to the decks,you best be bringing your top swag. Just sayin’.
Opening up for him Mr. McNeill, the warrior poet we all know and love does battle with the one known as Loopus Amadeus. Fresh off of their globetrotting gigs for the highly secretive collaborations on Crush, these two know a little something about getting it off to a proper start.
Upstairs, Edwin Guerrero throws it into the ring with a benificent blend of hip hop, reggaeton, electro and remixes. This newcomer is no newcomer to the decks, get there early to check out what he’s bringing. Stay late for CreateSpace’s favorite denizen of the federal territory that is Washington D.C., Obeyah brings his tried and true mix mastery back once again for what we know will continue to get those hips swaying and those ladies swooning. Obeyah’s mixture of Moombahton, Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Electro and pretty much anything ill always gets a lot of “Who is that guy!” when he graces us with his presence.
