Bassic Vs. Pico Picante + DJ Brek.One!

BASSIC, Boston’s longest running dub step party is teaming up with Pico Picante, Good Life’s premiere Moombahton/Tropical Bass/Digital Cumbia party to throw one hell of an event.
Upstairs we have a special set by Dance Pajaritos followed by DJ Brek.One spinning Hip Hop, Reggae and Party Jamz.

A Tribe Called Red (Ontario, Canada)
In 2008, DJ’s NDN and Bear Witness founded A Tribe Called Red adding two-time Canadian DMC champ, DJ Shub to the crew in 2010. ATCR creates an never before heard sound made up of a wide variety of musical styles ranging from Hip-Hop, Dance Hall, Electronic, and their own mash-up of club and Pow Wow music, known as Pow Wow Step that is quickly gaining respect from all kinds of communities from all around the world. Electric Pow Wow is a monthly club night dedicated to showcasing Aboriginal DJ talent and Native urban culture and is aimed at creating a space for Aboriginal people. You can catch Electric Pow Wow every month on the second Saturday at Babylon nightclub in Ottawa, Canada.

CODIAC (SUBduction, SubFM) Boston
The one like Codiac moved to Boston in 2003, started spinning dubstep vinyl in ’08 and is now embedded deep in the Boston underground bass music scene. Currently he is the Director of Business Development for the Together Festival and also helps run the SUBduction Productions events and promo camp. His eclectic selection and legit DJing skills have led him to perform ‘longside the likes of Martyn, Pinch, Pangaea, Borgore, Moldy, Mad Professor, SBTRKT, B.Rich, Truth and heaps of Boston’s best local talent. Spinning some proper deep and dutty tunes spanning many subgenres of dubstep and beyond, Codiac can also be heard every Monday night 9pm-12am on his weekly Sub.FM radio show in company with fellow badman DJ Spliffolian.
