The Orator (Mushpost, 90.1 WRUV, J’aime le Dubstep)
Nicholas Concklin aka The Orator is the brainchild behind Mushpost, a multi-faceted bass organism. With a network of radio shows and an endless supply of specially curated events this hyperactive Burlington-based DJ collective is modernity disguised as post-modern. Taking the role of the selectah to the next level Mushpost acts as cultural ambassadors, exonerating forward thinking, bass driven, transnational music. Each DJ brings to the table a dense musical personality that is distinct and palpable. This, combined with the fusion of disparate cultures, results in a live experience that is as stimulating to your body as it is to your intellect. A braindance.

Spliffolian (SUBduction, Bass Oasis, SubFM)spliffolian subduction.posterous.com/
Spliffolian’s style is diverse, ranging across a wide spectrum of sounds and styles from roots, conscious dancehall, and dub to hip-hop, future dub, and dubstep with a particular ear towards deeper more nuanced sounds, heavy, dirty basslines, and unique melodies. Always fond of radio, he pioneered a number of SubFM shows including the now defunct Certain Mind State Radio with fellow Utrecht DJs Bojcot Selectah (OH GOSH!) and Roonigan and has just begun a new weekly SubFM show from Boston (Mondays, 2-4am GMT).

CSC Presents: FIX with ORLANDO VOORN
As we roll into our second year working with Good Life, CSC steps it up to bring you a whole bunch of treats. First and foremost a man who we can all agree belongs in the Electronic Music Hall of Fame..should there ever be one. Orlando Voorn spans the spectrum of savant producer and gifted turntablist. Winning the dutch Disco Mix Club (DMC) competition and heading to the world championship in the UK in 1986, Voorn delivered what many call the stand out performance of the competition (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDYpR692XTU ) eventually placing 3rd in the world, and he never looked back.
His blend of house, electro, techno and hip hop has allotted him the reputation of “innovator”. Under monikers, Fixomatic, Frequency, The NightTripper and about 20 others, Voorn has been working with Luminaries such as Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins and recently collabing with DJ Pierre’s Afro Acid label. Voorn’s sets do not disappoint.
Get there early as CSC homeboy and local prodigy Dark & Stormy helps to get your night off with the right amount of jackin’ beats and skittering synths as he matches wits with resident Mr. McNeill.
Upstairs, friends of CSC, The Deck Bros. keep you smangin’ it all night to choice hip hop and classics.
Chinook will be bringing you the visual dopeness all night long.

:: Kurt Sloan ::
After avenging his brother by defeating Thai kickboxing champion Tong Po, Kurt Sloan dissapeared into the sunset. Rumors started to circulate that Kurt had actually been killed by Tong Po’s mobsters.
It turns out that Kurt Sloan went back to the mountains to perfect his craft. He would study by day and come out only at night. His haunts were the discotecs, arcades, punk rock joints, beach side bars and gang ridden streets. It was there that he honed his craft: a potent mix of italo disco, synth pop, nu-disco, freestyle, street jams, detroit techno and other synth driven gems. Now, Kurt Sloan is donning mirrorshades and bringing it all to the dancefloor.
