Tonight!!! Social Studies Presents Sleezy McQueen + DJ Frank White!!

Social Studies is back this month for a special Disco Edition with
Orlando-based Sleazy McQueen. The Disco lothario will be bringing some
of that floridian Sleaze for a night of thumping disco & stomping
house. With over 100 releases under his belt on labels like Bear Funk,
Nang, Paper Recordings, House Arrest, & Headtunes, his body of work is
massive (pun intended). Sleazy McQueen’s productions sounds like what
might happen if Acid House took Kano in the backroom, beat up the two
Italians, kidnapped the black guy, hopped a plane to minneapolis,
abducted Prince, made those two do it until a baby popped out, then
slapped the baby in the ass with a 303(TB, not groovebox!!!!) and
sampled the baby crying. While his DJ sets provide an outlet for this
culturally-confused & funked-up sound. Sleazy has recently gained a
lot of attention with Whiskey Disco, his own Edits label. Starting
this summer, he is curating versión especial (special versions) a
label where he is bringing collaborators & friends into the mix. The
first release comes packed with a banger from Social Studies DJ
Brenden Wesley and one of his own edits on the flip.

We are really psyched to have Sleazy at Social Studies. With a record
bag that has found numerous occasions to travel from Asia to Europe,
this Disco perpetrator will surely be tearing the Dance floor apart.
Social Studies residents Alfredo & Brenden Wesley are nice & rested
