Fresh Produce, our infamous monthly hip hop and reggae party, returns tonight!
Fresh Produce has seen the likes of many stars bless the turntables for their monthly party, from a then up-and-coming Mayer Hawthorne, to legends like Prince Paul and Maseo of De La Soul.
Hosted by Boston-based web sites’ undergroundhiphop.com and jumptheturnstyle.com, in conjunction with Frank 151, Fresh Produce combines forces each month, inviting DJs and producers from across the country.
The music is a mixture of new and old hip hop, reggae and party jams, with plenty of turntablism-style scratching, beat juggling and near flawless mixing, held down by resident and founding DJs Tommee and Knife.
This month’s guest is Emynd, producer, DJ extraordinaire behind Crossfaded Bacon dn the now defunct legendary Philly Party. White T’s & White Belts.

Thursday Night is The 99 Nights / Chris Faraone Book Release Party!
Tonight we celebrate one of Boston’s hardest working journalists and his crowning achievement, the release of 99 nights with the 99 percent.
Come get an autographed copy of writer Chris Faraone’s new book about his coverage of the Occupy Revolution.
Needless to say we’re going to make this evening interesting.
There will be a JTTS.COM sponsored tent pitched in the middle of the dance floor downstairs housing a Chris Faraone art show. Plus, hosting and music duties will be provided by DJ On & On.
See you soon!
