Fresh Produce, the infamous monthly hip hop and reggae party held at Downtown Crossing’s Good Life bar, turns 5 years old this July.
To celebrate, we are throwing an epic two-part bash on Saturdays July 23 and 30th.
Fresh Produce has seen the likes of many stars bless the turntables for their monthly party, from a then up-and-coming Mayer Hawthorne, to legends like Prince Paul and Maseo of De La Soul.
Special guests for July 20th’s party parties include a live performance by viral internet sensation Turquoise Jeep. Turquoise Jeep consists of comedy-rap/r & b team Flynt Flossy, Pretty Raheem, Whatchyamacallit and Yung Humma, whose YouTube videos have garnered millions of hits in a short period of time. The DJ duo has been spinning side-by-side in Boston now for ten years.
